TERMS OF SERVICE
PURPLE NETWORK produce high quality bespoke websites for small businesses. We are a small business and we aim to provide a friendly personal service to all our customers. If you have a question or a query about any of our service please contact us.
Websites colours and layout may vary between displays, browsers and operating systems. We make every effort to ensure our website designs display consistently in popular browsers, including MSIE7+, Firefox 3 +, Safari 3+ and Opera 10+.
PURPLE NETWORK reserves the right to refuse to handle any material which may be deemed in any way offensive, illegal, immoral, controversial or otherwise objectionable and also to terminate our service should the necessity arise.
Purple Network will use reasonable efforts to supply a continuous service. However, Purple Network is not liable for any resulting from delays outside of our control, missed or non-deliveries, service interruptions or by errors or omissions of by you.
From time to time PURPLE NETWORK or its sub-contractors need to carry out essential maintenance, which may involve temporarily shutting down website services. We try to keep this work to a minimum and inform you of the circumstances. PURPLE NETWORK accepts no liability whatsoever arising from such a suspension of the service.
PAYMENT
Our standard terms for sites under £699 are a minimum 50% of the estimate in advance and the balance on satisfactory completion. Our standard terms for sites quoted over £699 are a minimum 20% of the estimate in advance, 30% on agreement of design and the balance on satisfactory completion. Once work has been undertaken your deposit is non-refundable, except when products are proven to be faulty and cannot be satisfactorily repaired or replaced and our service agreement is terminated.
Unless otherwise agreed any quotation provided will be valid for six months from the date stated on the quotation. Should you decide that changes are required after work on the website design has been approved by you and work on further webpages have been completed using the approved design, an additional fee may be payable.
Payment must be received within 30 days of the date of dispatch of the invoice. PURPLE NETWORK reserve the right to suspend our services to you if payment is not received within 30 day, which may result in irrecoverable loss of domain names, websites and data. You will be liable for any debt collection charges.
COPYRIGHT
HTML markup, PHP, MySQL, CSS and other code and database designs are licensed to you for use on only this project. The copyright for graphics, images and text material created for you by PURPLE NETWORK will remain the property of PURPLE NETWORK until payment has been made in full.
In situations where you provide text, images, animations, layouts or any other content for your website you are legally responsible for ensuring that this material does not infringe any copyright.
THIRD PARTY SERVICES
PURPLE NETWORK can at our own discretion, but is not obliged to, offer integration of third party products as part of the website design, including eCommerce services (eg. Paypal) and social networking services (eg. Facebook). Whilst PUPRLE NETWORK is happy to advise on choice of third party products, final responsibility for the suitability of the product chosen lies with you. You will be responsible for sign up with third party service providers and you must provide name, address, contact details, and bank details if required by third party service provider. You should be aware these services are registered with a third party and as such you agree to fully abide by the terms and conditions set out by the third party for such services. PURPLE NETWORK accepts no responsibility or liability should third party service providers choose to decline to provide you with services.
ECOMMERCE
PURPLE NETWORK provides websites which can be used to allow sales of goods and services. We are not involved in transactions between buyers and sellers. It is a responsibility of the seller to ensure the quality, safety or legality of the items advertised, the truth or accuracy of the listings, the ability of suppliers to provide items or services or the ability of buyers to buy items. We are not responsible for ensuring that buyers and suppliers actually complete a transaction.
You accept responsibility for the legality of your actions under laws applying to you.
PURPLE NETWORK reserves the right to terminate our service to you at anytime if you are in breach of any UK laws, trading restrictions, any terms of this agreement or legal orders.
PRIVACY POLICY
PURPLE NETWORK is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. We may use your personal information to send you promotional information about third parties which we think you may find interesting if you tell us that you wish this to happen. If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible, at the above address. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.
